Regent Business School holds a prestigious graduation ceremony each year to honour the graduating students who have received their qualifications from Regent. These qualifications are conferred by Regent Business School at the graduation ceremony. Students who have completed their studies and are due to take a qualification ("graduands") are presented for their qualifications to the Principal of Regent Business School, Prof. Narendra Bhana.
Qualifications that graduands may be eligible to receive include certificates, diplomas, Bachelor degrees, Master degrees and Post-graduate diplomas all in the sphere of business studies. International students are also eager participants at the ceremony. The graduation ceremony is held at venues that is accessible to the graduands. The venue is determined in terms of student response and local.
A part of the graduation ceremony is a keynote address by an invited guest speaker. The guest speaker is either a recognized leader in the business field or a respected academic in this field.

The graduation ceremony and alumni dinner took place on the 7th November 2009 at the Southern Sun, Grayston, Johannesburg.
The guest speaker was the Minister of Public Service and Administration: Mr. Richard Baloyi. In his keynote address, he stressed the importance of graduates creating a space for themselves in South Africa and the world. Mr Bulelani Gratitude Magwanishe (Chief Deputy Whip of the ruling party in South Africa) also addressed the graduands.
About 100 students graduated with RBS qualifications ranging from Certificate in Business Management, Diploma in Human Resource Management, Bachelor of Commerce Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Management and Leadership and the Master of Business Administration (MBA).
The highlight of the graduation ceremony was Mr. Petros Mfana Sithole (53 years) who graduated with a BCom Degree and received the top Bcom award. Other recipients of awards were:
